These few but decent-sized lines of lambs made similar returns to a year ago. Larger mixed-sex lines made $89-$95, lighter types $61-$78.
Heavy hoggets sold for $120-$137.50. A larger yarding of ewes with lambs at foot were well sought-after.
Good-quality mixed-age lines were spread across $77-$81.50 all-counted.
Although the store cattle yarding was up on the previous week, it was still down on a year ago.
Two-year Friesian bulls 390-440kg came back to $2.78-$2.88/kg, while traditional two-year heifers, 365-435kg, made $2.97-$3.06kg.
Two-year steers were varied but Angus, 415kg, topped the sale at $3.49/kg.
The highlight of the sale was multiple lines of very good quality Angus steers.
Those 350-385kg were at $1220-$1345, with 245-270kg lines achieving $1010-$1030.
Angus and Angus-Hereford, 235-250kg, were the highlight of the heifers at $845-$870.
Yearling Friesian bulls, 235-290kg, made $849-$850.
