With the season winding down, old season lamb numbers are dropping each week, and the market was more competitive. Eighty per cent of the offering were ewe lambs, with prices firm at $91-$104 for medium to good, heavier lines $108-$123. Male lambs were also mainly medium to good and made $97-$110.

Returns were good for ewes with lambs at foot. Woolly ewes with single blackface lambs made $83.50, while multiples from the same camp sold for $79. Lighter condition ewes with mainly single, younger lambs earned $65-$70.

Eighty-eight cattle were offered with nearly half the offering in one line of R1 Angus & Angus-Hereford steers, which sold for $870, $4.07/kg. Heading to the same property were five Charolais steers, at $830, $3.90/kg. Older Angus & Angus-Hereford steers returned$1420, $2.90/kg, with the same rate paid for eight Limousin heifers, $930.
