Friesian steers were the only lines on offer in the 2-year pens, and sold for $2.49-$2.63/kg. The bull section had a mix of ex-service Hereford, and trading bulls, with the top Hereford selling to $1900 at $3.62/kg, while most other types made $2.48-$2.93/kg. A consignment of 18-month beef-cross cattle were offered, and steers, 363-385kg, made $2.59-$2.67/kg, and heifers, 375kg, $2.64/kg.

Heifers made up the bulk of the 1-year section, and top quality Hereford, 265kg, stood out by selling for $850, with Hereford-Friesian and beef-cross, 280-295kg, at $800-$830. Light crossbred lines sold for $357-$460. Steers were limited to Friesian, 280-440kg, at $714-$1120. Friesian bulls, 265-364kg, sold for $805-$1060, and crossbred, 282-358kg, $800-$860.

The weaner bull section had all breeds covered, but the standout was the lighter Hereford-Friesian, which, at 90-$122kg, sold for $477-$570, while crossbred, 85-140kg, made $380-$450. A bigger offering of Friesian bulls sold in two main weight bands, with 117-125kg making $500-$510, and 97-108kg, $424-$465. Jersey bulls made $250-$340. Most of the heifers traded for $425-$435. A small offering of calves resulted in strong prices for most types, and Hereford-Friesian bulls earned $170-$310, and heifers, $170-$250. Friesian bulls made $150, and heifers, $85.

Boner cow prices varied, though there was plenty of strength in the market. Better types traded at $1.80-$1.88/kg, medium types $1.64/kg, and light, $1.17-$1.47/kg. Weaner pigs made $67-$85, and mixed sex lambs, $66.
