Prime hoggets were $2-$4/head lower than the last sale, with the better end making $120-$130, easing to $110-$119 for good types, $91-$109 for more moderate lines.

Prime ewes sold to expectations. Heavy ewes made $90-$95, good lines $80-88, medium types $60-$76.

A handful of new-season lambs sold well, but store hoggets were harder to shift at $50-$68.

The number of ewes with lambs was lower, though what was traded did still make $61-$68 all-counted.

Prime steers eased 5-10c/kg to $2.90-$2.93/kg for 566-593kg and $2.80-$2.83/kg for 505-520kg.

Heavy prime heifers were varied but were also down with some at $2.80-$2.89/kg and others $2.70-$2.78/kg.

Lighter lines were steady-to-firmer at $2.70-$2.80/kg. Prime cows, 470-511kg, made $1.71-$1.80/kg.

The two-year store yarding was predominantly made up of steers.

Better-quality traditional lines, 262-374kg, were at $3.28-$3.29/kg.

Heifers made up the bulk of the yearling numbers, reaching $810 for 231kg Herefords, while Angus and Angus-Hereford, 235-261kg, were $750-$835, $3.19-$3.20/kg.

One-year exotic bulls, 271-337kg, were $780-$900.
