In any business doing the little things well will add up. At time when product prices are depressed attention to detail is the difference between success and failure. That is why this year’s Country-Wide Agronomy’s theme is ‘Making it Count’. Making sure every step within a farming operation, whether it is dairy,  sheep and beef, deer or arable, counts.

It focuses on best practice and proven science which underpin successful farming. It covers from testing soils, to the way paddocks are cultivated or the use of minimum tillage and the choosing the correct mix of nutrient inputs through to the management and utilisation of feed and cereal crops.

Agronomy will cover a wide range of topics. It will go out to 23,000 dairy, sheep and beef, deer and arable farmers as part of the Country-Wide August issue. It will remind readers of the basic agronomy practices as well as inform them of the advanced. It will highlight where the opportunities are and what  technology is available. Of course the emphasis will be on best practices. It will point readers in the right direction for expert advice and product information.

Agronomy contains a tremendous amount of topics that relate to your business’s  activities and products.
